After a duel for an empty demon throne leaves one prince dead and one emperor self-exiled, Damon Zarkon rules a broken empire while searching for a way to save the father who cannot forgive himself.

Issue Summaries Issue 1: The Throne Can Wait - Folder: series/fangs-of-zarkon/issues/issue-01/ - Logline: Damon defeats his brother Jaco for the empty demon throne, chooses to rescue their father instead of ruling, and becomes emperor only after Zarkon exiles himself in grief. - Plot summary: Damon and Jaco meet in Zarkon's moonlit throne court after Jaco has banished their father. Jaco attacks with the Reality Splitter's portal slashes, while Damon survives through path-sight and the movement pull of his Pathfang blade. Jaco blinds Damon with reflected moonlight, but Damon senses the portal slash by instinct, then blinds Jaco with dust and kills him by sound.
