About Random Comics
Random Comics is a home for standalone one-shots, strange experiments, and comic series that grow beyond a single issue.
Some comics are based on dreams. Some come from sudden shower thoughts, weird news, superhero concepts, game-inspired ideas, or random sparks of imagination that demanded to become something real. Some ideas only need one finished comic. Others may build into recurring characters, settings, and issue-to-issue continuity.
The comics collected here may vary in tone, style, length, format, and genre. You might find superhero action, sci-fi weirdness, dream logic, horror, comedy, mythic strangeness, standalone stories, or the beginning of a larger series.
Think of this as a creative sketchbook turned into a comic archive: a place where spontaneous ideas can become finished stories, whether they stand alone or keep expanding.
Not every comic needs a universe.
But when a strange little story grows into one, Random Comics has room for that too.

Issue Summaries
Issue Summaries Issue 1: Bite Me at 4:30 - Folder: series/probably-dreaming/issues/issue-01/ - Logline: Jet Black assumes a zombie at his apartment door is proof that he is dreaming, becomes a bored zombie on purpose, then misses the evidence after Huntsville returns to normal. - Plot summary: After a prologue introduces Jet's dream logic and Lucid Light rules, Jet hears insistent knocking while writing a comic. He sees a zombie through the peephole, decides he must be dreaming, and eagerly invites the bite. He carefully lets the zombie infect him without eating his brain, removes its head, and waits for zombie hunger that never arrives because his one-meal-a-day routine has him thinking breakfast is not until 4:30 AM. Bored by the slow zombie apocalypse outside, Jet tries to summon Lucid Light and realizes he may need a Lucid Conduit. Gunfire outside and a panicking severed zombie head force him to hide quietly from armed survivors. At HudsonAlpha, a scientist releases glowing serum through a steam machine, spreading blue fog across Huntsville and returning the zombies to normal. Jet wakes back into ordinary life and calls it a dream while failing to notice the severed zombie head still in his room. - Continuity changes: The issue establishes Jet's daily routine, dream assumptions, Lucid Light, Lucid Conduits, and the series' pattern of normalcy returning while physical evidence remains. - New characters: Jet Black. - New settings: Emerald Ridge Apartment; Huntsville Street Outside Emerald Ridge. - New key items: Lucid Light; Lucid Conduit. - Reference images added: jet-black-character.png ; emerald-ridge-apartment-setting.png ; huntsville-apartment-street-setting.png ; lucid-light-key-item.png ; lucid-conduit-key-item.png . Issue 2: Fangs for the Dream - Folder: series/probably-dreaming/issues/issue-02/ - Logline: Dracula invades Jet's apartment before dawn to drink his blood, but Jet treats the attack as a lucid dream and accidentally defeats the vampire with dream-faith and sunlight. - Plot summary: Dracula enters Jet's bedroom as fog after flying over Huntsville all night. He tries to feed on Jet, but Jet's dreadlocks block the bite and wake him up. Jet is thrilled instead of afraid, punches Dracula, and declares himself a Lucid Lord. When Jet fails to summon a Lucid Light sword, Dracula tries hypnosis, but Jet resists because of his past hypnosis experience and pokes Dracula in the eyes. Dracula grows more confused when Jet claims his past life was an interdimensional alien, transforms into a wolf, and pins Jet down. Jet's certainty that he is dreaming burns Dracula like holy faith, letting Jet knock him out. While searching for a Lucid Conduit, Jet opens the blinds and misses Dracula turning to dust in the dawn sunlight, then assumes the whole event was probably a dream. - Continuity changes: Jet's dream-faith can weaken supernatural threats that respond to belief. Jet still needs a Lucid Conduit when Lucid Light does not answer. - New characters: Dracula, one-issue antagonist. - New settings: None. - New key items: None. - Reference images added: None.
